Welcome
The Calgary Fetal Alcohol Network is a committee comprised of a group of key stakeholders. The committee was developed after a need arose to address the social issue of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) in the Calgary Region.
The effects and severity of FASD are still not well understood by many Canadians. There is a strong need to increase awareness and education about the consequences of drinking alcohol during pregnancy.
The Calgary Fetal Alcohol Network invites you or your organization to become a member of our Network. CFAN meets on a monthly basis and has working groups in the areas or Professional Knowledge and Resources and Prevention and Awareness to address the needs in the community.
